"Valerie" by The Zutons
editWhen watching this on Hulu, with closed captioning on, it listed "Valerie" as performed by Amy Winehouse. Looking at the wiki page for Valerie, it says it was redone (and more popular) by Amy. Is there a difference between the versions, and if so, which one did the cast of Glee perform? While Glee has done a variety of songs, many contemporary and non-contemporary, it seems this song would have been chosen thanks to Amy Winehouse remaking it, as opposed to what seems (but I do not know) to be originally an obscure song. 67.247.212.52 (talk) 00:11, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- I would just like to also point out that in the previous episode, "Furt," the song "Sway" makes special notice of being performed by Michael Buble, as well as the original artist. I also saw that Dean Martin also did the song, but Glee didn't cover that version. So should Amy Winehouse be credited? 67.247.212.52 (talk) 00:13, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- Changed to the Mark Ronson version. I had changed the other pages, but had forgotten the episode page itself: thanks! And as for Bublé, the version covered was explicitly mentioned in the episode, so that is why it's there. Yves (talk) 00:15, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
The Hipsters
editMe and my mom are pretty sure they're a parody of young@heart. Should there be a mention of this? 75.68.52.240 (talk) 01:30, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

- Doesn't look like there are any reliable sources there. Yves (talk) 01:46, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Okay. Well, I tried! ;D 75.68.52.240 (talk) 01:49, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, you did and thank you for that! Many of those search results seem to be blogs or forums so we can't use those as references. Maybe a professional comparison will come up later? Yves (talk) 01:52, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw that too! A lot of speculation about whether or not they were one and the same. And yeah, I hope it does, so we can add it! 75.68.52.240 (talk) 01:54, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Production section and acting credits
editIt doesn't happen a lot, but sometimes a credited artist doesn't actually have a scene. Telly Leung, who plays Wes (the president of the Warblers), has a guest star credit for "A Very Glee Christmas", but he doesn't actually appear. I saw a tweet from him where he confirms that the scene had been shot, but ended up on the cutting room floor.
In "Special Education", while John Stamos as Carl is mentioned several times, and indeed marries Emma concurrently with events in this episode, he never actually appears on screen in the final broadcast version. I think it would be a good idea to point this out in the Production section of episode pages. Any thoughts on the matter? Are their others besides these two incidents? Max Adler has only a couple of seconds of background screen time in "Audition", as far as I can tell, but he is seen, though not heard. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:18, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I forgot about Carl's three seconds kissing Emma during "Dog Days Are Over" at the end of the show, so it's not correct for this episode, but it does stand for Telly/Wes in the next episode. I'd be interested in what people think. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:06, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
