Change "In March 2024, Lee will receive a Board of Governor's Award from the American Society of Cinematographers." to "In March 2024, Lee received a Board of Governor's Award from the American Society of Cinematographers."
This already happened on March 3, with proof given by the ASC itself (https://theasc.com/asc-awards/38th-annual-asc-awards-winners#:~:text=Honorary%20awards%20at,Sony%E2%80%99s%20Dan%20Perry.) Xanderbit (talk) 15:29, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
- Have done so now. Thanks for bringing it up. Emma.Dolphin (talk) 17:46, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
Movie of the life and legacy of a black icon and trailblazer in the black haircare industry !
editHello Mr. Lee,I’m a huge fan of your work on film, and I’ve enjoyed watching the way we’ve been portrayed in your body of work over the years. If given the chance I would like to share an American success story with you and possibly get it to the big screen. This movie will be an inspiration to all those who watch especially young black men and women with entrepreneurial aspirations in any business but especially the haircare industry. - @Burrowsclaudia, you have posted on a Wikipedia talk page. It is unlikely Spike Lee will see your post. Just to fulfill my curiosity, I see a lot of these posts on Wikipedia reaching out to celebrities and important people, what led you to post here? Commander Keane (talk) 01:28, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Commander Keana, my apologies for posting here. When it says to talk I figured it might reach the right person. I’ve been reaching out to different movie producers trying to get this vision out due to the great impact it will bring. Is there a place you can direct me to, to possibly be heard? Burrowsclaudia (talk) 01:56, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Burrowsclaudia ahh I see what you did there, I can see why you got confused! I am not really sure how to contact Spike Lee. He has a Twitter account, listed in the External links section of our article. You could try his agent, maybe Google search for them. Good luck :-) Commander Keane (talk) 02:05, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
