I'm not sure that Spiral first appeared in the Longshot miniseries. Now, I'm no expert, but I know that spiral led Rachel Summers up a spiral path into some sort of alternate timeline which, I believe, was before Longshot was introduced, perhaps as an introduction to Mojoworld? Does anyone know how to check the accuracy of this timeline? Does Marvel have a resource?
Spiral appeared in Uncanny X-men #199 in 1985, which has a coverdate of november. Longshot #1's coverdate is september 1985. The issue which Rachel was much later. The issues with Rachel going to Mojoworld were later in Uncanny, in 1986. Dizzy D 22:21, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Golden vs Silver
editI have only a few early appearances of Spiral. The X-Men where Storm allegedly died due to the Nanny Bot in Longshot's nightmare, the Longshot collected TPB and X-Factor #8. In X-Factor #8, she is clearly a part of the Freedom Force but then chooses to leave in the middle of the mission. She's very golden when she dons her costume in part 3 of Longshot (she was naked apparently before?) and still golden in X-Factor. Is the color change to silver significant?
Ultimate X-Men - Spiral's Sister
editIn the Ultimate X-Men story arc "The Most Dangerous Game", Iceman, Shadowcat, Cyclops and Marvel Girl come across the Ultimate version of Spiral. She also mentions that she has a sister in America. During the previous story arc, "Cry Wolf", a woman with six arms like Spiral is seen as one of the performers. It is most likely that this woman is Spiral's sister. Should this information be included somewhere in the article? 82.40.146.92 15:37, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
