Passes Gen. Notability guidelines; Also an Olympian with significant reliable secondary coverage

The subject is a gold medalist at the World Cup and a Para Olympian with significant coverage through reliable, secondary sources as he was covered by all mainstream newspapers in India. The sports notability guidelines state that an eighth place in any of the continental championships like Asian Games is good enough. Also, in good faith, I understand that all Olympians, with significant coverage, as in this case, pass Gen. Notability test. So Sports Notability is not needed, but the subject BLP is a World Cup gold medalist and, also passes gen notability. best Davidindia (talk) 17:30, 22 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
