Identity management
editUnder Stigma management#Invisible stigma management there is a WikiLink to Identity management, but that is an article on computer security.
Wikipedia also has an article on Identity management theory. I'm not sure if this is the same as the "identity management" discussed here.
Trying to figure out if the wikilink should go to "Identity management theory", or if a link to "Identity management (psychology)" is needed.
Too many sections
editI feel there are too many sections on this page. I don't think there needs to be a section solely on "visible stigma" when it is just the definition. The same goes for "invisible stigma." These definitions can be put at the very top of the article for easy access. The subsections for visible and invisible stigma are useful and should be kept but can also be condensed by having a paragraph discussing the management of both visible and invisible stigmas at once.Paigealexis6 (talk) 20:09, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Paigealexis6: I believe the numerous subheadings greatly improve the Usability of this article. I would argue the main way people will use this article is by comparing the subheadings to themselves and/or the people in their life who deal with stigma management. It seems less Usable to require the user to read information that may not be immediately applicable to them, especially within such a challenging subject.
