You forgot a short film.

edit

There was a short film done by studio 4C and it was called Comedy, I think it runs fifteen minutes in length. I don't know if you put it as something else. It's about a keltic folklore involving a black swordsman who is also a cannibal and the town that a small irish girl is trying to save. If that doesn't ring any bells then I'm sure you can ask the scanlating group, Wizzu, about it. They translated it sometime 2 years ago.

I noticed this as well. If someone feels like expanding this article this might be a good place to start: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/company.php?id=359 --213.66.0.38 01:22, 4 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Should Genius Party and Genius Party Beyond be under feature films? They're both short film collections. --EsbenSloth (talk) 21:29, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

According to the studio's website, "Comedy" is one of the Sweat Punch series of shorts, which were originally serialized on their Grasshoppa! DVDs and then collected on the DVD Deep Imagination.

Two notable differences between the Sweat Punch series and the Genius Party films is that the Sweat Punch episodes have been released separately as well as together and were made for home video; the Genius Party films have only ever been released as complete feature films (not separately first and then collected) and were made for cinemas. So they're arguably not a "collection", and "Comedy" is an OVA short rather than a "film" in the sense of "theatrical."

Tone

edit

Yes it is true that the tone of the article is not up to the standards. but it only needs rewrite. for the casual observer the superlatives used to describe some films seem advertising but this is just only unformated words, the kind used in the reviews and articles when those movies came out. 'mind game' WAS regarded as avant garde and similarly for animatrix and others. so, my point is that the information here is valid but not written or formated properly. therefore PLEASE do not delete the info here, just reformat it. and if anyone is wondering I AM NOT PART OF STUDIO4C. I am just aware of the studio through articles and movies i have seen or read. I might try to rewrite but it may take me few days before i am free. so if anyone is wiling to help I would appreciate. (I just hate good information go down the drain just because of a bad writing case. take care all. Danraz (talk) 16:05, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Attempt done. The writing is still bad (it reads like a machine translation), but it's no longer promotional. It really needs some inline citations, if any of those peacock terms are to be used. -- Quiddity (talk) 20:57, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
