So first post. I would think the 8th season has something to do with Musical terms. Even the title has a bit of melody in it. Especially if were talking about Suite.Blackgaia02 (talk) 04:47, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

names and musical references

edit

I keep having this discussion over at the Pretty Cure Wiki from people who don't know a musical reference when they see one and keep messing up the villain names as they are all like this. I admit that do not know any Japanese but at least I do know songs, singers and musical notation. The villain "Siren"(not Selene!) is a reference to Greek myth specifically the Odyssey where the "Sirens" sang to lure unwary sailors to their deaths. I changed this back for now and please don't mess with it...instead discuss this here....k? If I have to I'll get some of my fansubber friends to help but that's how they translate the name as well. Ako's surname

edit

A lot of people seem to thinking Ako's surname is Shirabe, claiming that she's Otokichi's granddaughter. However, there hasn't really been anything in the series proving that, as the credits have always put her name down as just Ako without a surname. You should probably find some actual sources before assuming otherwise. (Note that the word for grandpa, 'jii-san', can also be used to address old people that aren't related to you, so that doesn't count as a basis.) Wonchop (talk) 12:53, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Mephisto's status?

edit

I notice that there are undoings over the section. In other main ja and zh wiki or the official sites, they didn't make changes in this section. Basically I think encyclopedia does make instruction and summary of the whole story despite timeline. But if we only stress on the changes in later plot from time to time, (ex, if all enemies decide to be good, or a nation or plac was destoyed, so we better leave a section of nothing there) that will ruin the structure. I think it's a basic rule of plot summaryDoracake (talk) 12:53, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Spelling of Ellen/Eren

edit

So is it Eren or Ellen? Are there some Crunchyroll streams to confirm? AngusWOOF (barksniff) 01:46, 1 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Crunchyroll confirms that Ellen is the official spelling. [2] So does Anime News Network. So it's Ellen, not Eren, as the latter has been Engrished. Sk8erPrince (talk) 02:51, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
