User:Robert McClenon, the page history for Sunshine Comedies shows I redirected it some time ago to the Al St. John fillmography because many of the Sunshine Comedies films are listed there with some additional details. As I noted in the edit summary, it's a notable subject. I determined that pointing to some coverage was better than nothing, but Al St. John was only one of the directors and actors involved. Here is the page history I'm talking about. Grouping these series together in an article seems the way to go. Otherwise they are unwieldy. A list article might also work but I think inckuding article content is more useful and interesting to readers. FYI there are also Draft:Tuxedo Comedies and Draft:Mermaid Comedies among others. Before television film shorts were very popular ant it's appropriate that we cover these series, sort of the sitcoms of their day..FloridaArmy (talk) 00:42, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I have found a additional title that shows from research that the short was made in 1915, which proves sunshine comedy started earlier than previously thought the title is love and war, Director was Tom Terriss (uncredited). there is a lobby card on eBay that states a William Fox sunshine, comedy, love and war. User:Robert McClenon I don't remember why I linked those particular titles. Perhaps they are extant? If it troubles you, please delink. There are already entries in mainspace for many short films. Each had its own cast and plot. I think they shoukd be included the question is how best to do so? A branded list seems to me a good start. As per usual it's stuck in draftspace being argued about instead of being worked up in mainspace where it can be collaborated on and improved by various editors with different expertise and insights.
