Hi there, this is my first time adding content to a Talk page--I look forward to your help and feedback. I had previously been blocked from posting information about artists that have had work come up for auction at Swann Galleries, where I work. I understand that this can be interpreted as a conflict of interest. So, instead of posting some info, which I believe to be relevant and of interest, on the page for this artist, I am going to suggest posting it here, and hopefully someone will see this, agree that it is appropriate for the page, and post it. On March 24, 2011 an auction record was set for a work by Susan Derges: The Observer and the Observed #6, a silver print from 1992, sold for $28,800 (including buyer's premium). Here's a link to the lot in the online catalogue: http://catalogue.swanngalleries.com/asp/fullCatalogue.asp?salelot=2240+++++146+&refno=++643683&saletype=
