Source help
editThe worst of the sourcing issues should be fixed. There are a few things still uncited. Any help in resolving that would be much appreciate. :) Any help finding a better source than the one I used would also be appreciated. --LauraHale (talk) 03:56, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Huh?
editCorrect me if I'm wrong, but Susan Devoy quit as patron of the NZ MDA in the midst of a brouhaha about genetic modification a few years back. The article implies she's a current patron. Also, the MDA link should not go to the American MDA page--the organisations are separate, and in case anyone's unsure the American MDA page begins by saying that the MDA "is an American organization". Last I checked, New Zealand wasn't the 51st State. The Gilly (talk) 07:55, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Do you have any references so this can be fixed? --LauraHale (talk) 09:28, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Non-POV
editThe article reads as if Susan has written it herself. It includes a concerning lack of detachment and neglect to include quotation marks and impartial qualifiers in many instances.
Of particular concern is the section on Susan's "calling out" of New Zealand politicians and citizens; which includes the use of informal language ("Chinese Kiwis"), weighted language that appears to favour her point of view, and in some cases undue weight. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonosbro (talk • contribs) 07:29, 9 October 2016 (UTC) Almost as if Devoy has a large staff to say nice things about her on Wikipedia.Yonk (talk) 06:37, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
