Nude scenes
editThis is one of my favorite movies, and I am currently watching it right now. She never appeared nude, just some risque scenes. And there was no lesbian 'oral sex' scene. This article needs a clean up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.255.249.189 (talk • contribs) 00:50, 20 January 2007
- Are you talking about The In Crowd? You must be watching the PG13 version? The American version was heavily edited to cut all the sex and most of the nudity and violence, so it could get a PG13 rating. The uncut movie was released in Europe and on a special DVD, but there are loads of vidcaps and discussions about her nude and sexual scenes online. 172.189.227.197 01:31, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Plastic surgery, etc.
editI removed much of the information about MegSusan Ward changing her image to that of a bad girl and irrelevant references to roles in which she appeared nude. The way these were presented in the article were at best unencyclopedic and at worst gratuitous. If we're going to include them as relevant, excellent sources must be produced per WP:BLP. Please discuss before reverting. AniMate 11:20, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- You don't even know her name?? It's all very well laid out in the 'bio' section of the officially approved website cited. She became famous originally because she had an ultra virginal, "good girl" image (eg claiming she wouldn't even go nude for her fiance, claiming she didn't drink, smoke or party -- Ward now claims that image was forced upon her by those at Spelling/NBC, a claim which has been denied). Overnight she switched to bragging about wild sex (eg having sex on a public beach), heavy partying and heavy drinking including drunk driving. That is a huge change and caused a major controversy among her fanbase and in the press. It led to many threats and fights between fansites\boards and her publicist, and led to several fansites shutting down and a big backlash aganst her, which Ward addressed in magazine interviews (calling her fans "fat housewives" and saying they were "naive" and didn't understand the entertainment industry). It's all documented on her mailing list. A large part of her fame is based on her career as a nude model so her first nude appearance is a signifiant career moment. Not irrelevant. 81.1.73.70 12:16, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about the name, it was late and I guess I combined her Sunset Beach character with her real name. Anyway, if you can find reliable sources for your claims, then you can reinsert some of that (as long as you present it in an encyclopedic way). You should read WP:BLP first though, and if you really feel this is way out of line, file an WP:RFC to get some outside opinions. AniMate 19:16, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
