• Inline contradictions - The History section states that the "...district was created in 1772" and the "...district was established in 1782".
• References - The explicit claims made in the History section (for example, the two establishment dates) are not referenced other than a single reference at the end of the section.
• The History section contains irrelevant content seemingly copied from an external website, referencing itself, and without attribution ("There is an attempt to make this web portal useful to the needs of information seekers. It contains detailed information on various important government departments, resources, publications, education, agriculture, medicine, tourism and housing. Orphaned references in Sylhet District

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Sylhet District's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
