There is a double bracket in the “square-free number” bullet point, right after “OEIS.” Someone could remove this as there is no bracket within a bracket in this bullet point. Hsgh436 (talk) 00:16, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

A period could be placed after the last bracket in the “Ruth-Aaron pair” bullet point. Hsgh436 (talk) 04:24, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

The "N" in "Numbers divisible by another number" in the "See also" section could be capitalized. 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:3183:E0FC:3FED:6BF4 (talk) 20:20, 8 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I believe that the grammar of the Ruth-Aaron number bullet point can be improved. Here is my suggestion:

A Ruth-Aaron pair is two consecutive numbers (x, x+1) with a0(x) = a0(x+1). The first (by x value): 5, 8, 15, 77, 125, 714, 948, 1330, 1520, 1862, 2491, 3248 (sequence A039752 in the OEIS). Another definition is the same prime only counted once; if so, the first (by x value): 5, 24, 49, 77, 104, 153, 369, 492, 714, 1682, 2107, 2299 (sequence A006145 in the OEIS). 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:A961:B651:6ADE:672C (talk) 00:30, 9 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

The grammar on the "frugal number" bullet point could be improved. Here is my suggestion:

A frugal number has more digits than the number of digits in its prime factorization (when written like the tables below with multiplicities above 1 as exponents). The first in decimal: 125, 128, 243, 256, 343, 512, 625, 729, 1024, 1029, 1215, 1250 (sequence A046759 in the OEIS). 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:2D7A:91E8:9B65:FE7B (talk) 18:34, 9 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

In the source of this article there is a section sign "§" underneath the number 9 line that does not appear to serve a purpose. It could be removed as there is only one. 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:65BB:50A7:F16B:B63A (talk) 19:43, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

In the "See also" section, in the line "Number related lists," the "Prime factors" could be removed. 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:782B:84CD:7E05:151 (talk) 05:09, 23 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done: the pipelink in that category is there so that, in the category list, the article is sorted under 'p' for 'prime' rather than 't' for 'table' (see WP:Piped link § Piped category links). Irltoad (talk) 08:22, 23 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's already taken care of by the DEFAULTSORT above. Adding it next to a link is redundant. 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:D822:B9CF:C381:55C6 (talk) 23:27, 23 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

In the "See also" section, in the line "Number related lists," the "Prime factors" pipelink could be removed as the DEFAULTSORT above takes care of sorting the link in that and the other categories, and as such including it there is redundant. 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:853E:F30D:B59C:E90E (talk) 05:03, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

In the properties section, the link that says "big Omega function" should be simplified to "prime Omega function" as that is the proper title of that Wiki page.

Also, the first "cube" in "cube" could be capitalized ("cube"), and doing so would follow the formats of similar links, including the "Square number" link right above it. The same could go for "powersmooth" ("powersmooth"

Finally, "cube" could be changed to "cube" as the "arithmetic" link redirects to "algebra." 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:A1A3:EC5A:265E:E2A9 (talk) 02:43, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question: Could you clarify the changes? You wanted to capitalize the links, but none of the links you provided were capitalized. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk|contribs) 02:51, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
If you look at the "square" and the "cube" bullet points in the source text, you'll see that the the link to "Square number" is capitalized, while the link to "cube (arithmetic)" is not. I am asking that "Cube" be capitalized to correspond to the "Square number" link above, and it is what I have seen done on other links.
Basically, it would look like this: Cube (algebra)|cube.
Same would go for the "powersmooth" bullet point: Smooth number#Powersmooth numbers|powersmooth 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:6969:C386:5E1:F86D (talk) 06:04, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Capitalization of piped link targets is completely pointless. Why do you think it might be a constructive thing to do? —David Eppstein (talk) 06:35, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
The first words of the titles of the wiki articles are capitalized, so it therefore the first words of the piped links could be capitalized as well. It would help differentiate between the first and second parts of the piped link. 2604:3D09:247B:AE00:6969:C386:5E1:F86D (talk) 06:46, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Article titles are capitalized because, well, they're titles. Why would capitalizing piped links be helpful? '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk|contribs) 08:54, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Not done: Gonna agree with CanonNi and David Eppstein here. Capitalization of piped links does not provide the reader a benefit, as they'll be able to click the link and get to the target article regardless, and the pipe itself should be differentiation enough for editors desiring to edit them. —Sirdog (talk) 12:39, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
prime Omega function is a red link so clearly not the title of the page. It's Prime omega function but you only have to read the opening sentence to see it's about two functions: "the prime omega functions   and  ". Table of prime factors#Properties says:
  • Ω(n), the big Omega function, is the number of prime factors of n counted with multiplicity (so it is the sum of all prime factor multiplicities).
Since this is very clearly about the big Omega function Ω(n) and gives the definition of the big Omega function, it should of course continue to say "big Omega function". PrimeHunter (talk) 22:45, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Could you extend the data to 2500 or 5000 or 10000? Thanks. (This article in the Chinese Wikipedia has data to 5000) 61.224.150.139 (talk) 05:58, 3 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Shadow311 (talk) 15:15, 3 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
