Formatting of references
editHi JarrahTree. Would you please visit WP:CITE and take a few minutes to read on how to correctly cite sources. Your citing in this article was sloppy, at best. Additionally, you interpreted the cited sources instead of actually citing the sources directly. Generally speaking it is considered poor editing when an editor has placed links in the formats that you used in creating and editing this article, namely:
- [1] Offshore islands of Australia issue paper.
- [2] overview of Brothers and others work on islands.
- [3] overview of Brothers work.
- [4] quote included in Trove catalogue entry for the book.
- see Category:Coastline of Tasmania for the differences with usage on wikipedia.
I have substituted each of the above links with the following references:
- Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. "Chapter 9: Prioritisation of high conservation status offshore islands" (PDF). Ecosure. National Library of Australia. Archived from the original (0809-1197) on 11 November 2009.

If unsure on what template to use, the best thing that you can do is to cite the reference with its full title only in the format below:
Please take care to not put your own personal spin on the sources. Many thanks. Rangasyd (talk) 08:19, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
