Name - capitalisation
editHer name was tatiana de la tierra, no capitals. See authoritative sources such as Cornell library.
See also MOS:LCITEMS: "Some individuals do not want their personal names capitalized. In such cases, Wikipedia articles may use lower-case variants of personal names if they have regular and established use in reliable third-party sources (for example, k.d. lang). When such a name is the first word in a sentence, the rule for initial letters in sentences and list items should take precedence, and the first letter of the personal name should be capitalized regardless of personal preference.
Examples are danah boyd (which is non-compliant in that sentences start with "boyd" rather than "Boyd" as set out above) and k.d. lang (which is non-compliant in using "Lang" throughout the text).
I have amended this article back to the correct form of her name. PamD 08:14, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
- Have also fixed the couple of incorrect "b"s in danah boyd. Lang article much higher profile - will leave a note on its talk page to suggest changing "Lang" to "lang" except at start of sentences. PamD 08:30, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
