Why? Weights fluctuate and the WTA and ITF never get them correct. When she was 16 she was 5'6" and 170lbs. but that was two years ago. She could be taller, she could be skinnier she could be fatter. No one knows but her. Fyunck(click) (talk) 21:23, 29 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Could each party in this content dispute sort of state what they would do here, and solve things amicably? I wasn't sure myself what the best way to word the challenger/WTA 125 events. I would always use "major" instead of Grand Slam event, and it is "Eugenie Bouchard", but two WTA titles is all that is needed... I don't see where "tour" is required. Also "Junior Grand Slam tournament" is standard practice since Grand Slam in tennis has multiple meanings. It's why we try to use the term "major" as often as possible. I asked for the page to be locked until you figure it out, hoping to avoid any revert blocks. I hope it helps a bit. Fyunck(click) (talk) 07:07, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Record Against Top 10 Players = Extremely Misleading
Latest comment: 1 year ago1 comment1 person in discussion
I understand that many on Wikipedia think these pages should be tributes rather than biographies. The section of "Record Against Top 10 Players" is extremely misleading. Reading it, it would suggest that she beat these people when they were ranked that high. A careful reading indicates this is not the case, but many will not read this carefully? And what is the value then of showing this? Harmony Tan beat Serena Williams at Wimbledon at the end of Serena's career, and probably has a 1-0 record against Serena. Does that suggest that Harmony Tan is better than Serena?
The person who set this up seemed to have spent a lot of time making this chart, so I am hesitant to try to delete this in one sweep of a Delete key. But at some point, this section needs to go. I'm sure the person who did this loves Taylor Townsend. Great! Go set up a tribute page for her. Just don't put it on Wikipedia. Asc85 (talk) 15:13, 12 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
