The Titans animated series also adapted this storyline, but presented Terra in a sympathetic light, as a confused child who fell under Slade (Deathstroke)'s influence due to fear of and lack of control over her powers, but in the end turned against him and saved the Titans, seemingly at the cost of her own life; in the original storyline, Terra's intentions were malevolent from beginning to end, and she died while trying to kill both the Titans and Deathstroke.

Critiques of separate mediums, specifically interpreting the animated series and the intentions of the characters in the comics is subjective at best, and does not have a place in a future movies description (as they too may choose the interpret or represent the material differently). Stating that the interpretation was sympathetic or the character is malevolent has no place in the description of this specific storyline. To describe in neutrality the storyline and/or the actions of the character without modifiers would be acceptable. 66.109.248.114

For what it’s worth, that paragraph was accurate about Terra’s motivations in the cartoon show. I’m not at all familiar with the comics, but in the cartoon, Terra quite clearly saves the Titans from Slade. As for “sympathetic”, I suppose that writer meant she wasn’t an evil character (as evidenced by the aforementioned heroic act). But I agree that it seems largely irrelevant. —Frungi 03:28, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
