ImmaculateCorrection, patdowns may be conducted only on reasonable suspicion an individual may be armed and dangerous, not merely on reasonable suspicion of criminal activity. Please take another swing at the phrasing. Thanks for removing the emptying of pockets part, which would be a search requiring a probable cause warrant.
