The wikipedia article about the battle says that "The Soviet forces sustained 37 casualties (out of a force of 39 men), including 9 men killed and 28 injured" Which is right?--Roece 08:45, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

According to Russian version: 6 men were killed and 28 injured including 9 badly injured (34 casualties out of 39). --Wallach2008 (talk) 01:00, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Synopsis?

Characters, storyline etc? This article needs more work. Paratroopers

The "paratroopers" do not receive any apparent jump training. Is that historical, or omitted from the movie for reasons of time perhaps? Varlaam (talk) 16:52, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

The Soviet non-Russian

Do we know what nationality that character is likely to be? Kazakh? Kalmyk? Varlaam (talk) 17:20, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

There were several. Pinochet was Chechen (he said he was Muslim from Grozny). 'Khokhol' is common slur for Ukrainians. Oriental looking guy's ethnicity was not mentioned. Or at least I didn't catch it. Errarel (talk) 15:10, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

The US Version?

Finland ?

The first sentence states that this is a:

"The 9th Company (Russian: 9 Рота) is a 2005 Russian–Finnish–Ukrainian film."

Finnish company Matila Röhr Productions[1] was involved. According to credits Ilkka Matila was responsible for Visual Effects, financed by Finnish Film Foundation. Errarel (talk) 16:02, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
