Leg 3
editTo whoever can edit the places in Leg 3, please do so. I am not familiar with the actual names mentioned, so if you can, please include the actual names of the places they went to. Also, for the map, please edit it to reflect teams flying first to Kuala Lumpur. LordBelly06 (talk) 15:10, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
Title Screen
editThis season has a brand new title screen. Can someone upload an image of it? tyvm 174.1.48.24 (talk) 09:56, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Requesting Lock
editSeriously, this page keeps getting heavily vandalized. We've got people changing the flags, changing the names (all of them) and making up stupid crap.174.1.48.24 (talk) 23:03, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! 174.1.48.24 (talk) 09:12, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
Leg 7
editThe reward for Ethan & Khairie is similar to the non-1st place awards given by Travelocity to teams in the American Version, when one team gets the gnome with the required mark/symbol. I added it to the Prizes Section, with special notation, similar to Amazing Race 7. LordBelly06 (talk) 05:05, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Dreamworld Fun Park
editI think Dreamworld Fun Park is in Gold Coast, not Brisbane. Could you please explain this? ApprenticeFan work 11:28, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- It is indeed in Gold Coast. Already corrected earlier. LordBelly06 (talk) 11:23, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Leg 9
editCould anyone give the citations about 2 upcoming Indonesian legs? I couldn't find any references towards Leg 9 being in Indonesia. 118.136.55.192 (talk) 06:20, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Leg 7 results second footnote
editWhether Dimple and Sunaina didn't completed the second detour in the second half and they were falling behind the other teams, the production crew sent them to the Pit Stop. [1] ApprenticeFan work 02:05, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
Althought the Post race interview (Memories) was not filmed at TV but only at online, i saw they did the detour as well. After that, Phil just said they told on the last place call. So what, i saw it was true. (Singaporeandy (talk) 15:03, 16 June 2011 (UTC))
Table formatting
editThere is a thread on the recent reformatting of the Results table at Talk:The Amazing Race 17#Results table format change. Ongoing discussion on the matter should be done there.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 01:55, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Any reference of the future legs?
editIf there's no reference, it can't be prooven to be real. Thus, no one should reveal the future legs or they'll be fined with 5 million US dollars. And may I ask the editer about where its information came from?Wowovr2 (talk) 03:46, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Jess is not a Filipino
editBy the way, Jacinta "Jess" James is not a Filipino, she is pure-blooded Australian. Though she was born and raised in Australia and came to the Philippines in 2006.
According to the source from Philippine Daily Inquirer [2]:
James and Pillinger were born and raised in Australia. Pillinger’s mom hails from Bicol; James is 100 percent Australian.

Leg 2 penalty for Michelle & Claire
editAlthough before Michelle and Claire won the 20-min advantage at the roadblock, they were penalised a 4-hour penalty. Should they.......
- Did ignore penalty?
- Minus 20-min of Penalty?
Besides, They finished 7th despite of the penalty. (Singaporeandy (talk) 10:16, 22 April 2011 (UTC))
Fix leg 7
editPlease see Talk:The Amazing Race Australia#Fix Leg 7 for details. In the first episode, Allan Wu said there are 11 legs, but Leg 7 isn't a double-length leg and has a prize. ApprenticeFan work 11:44, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- TAR Australia's talk page is right and it's not actually a separate leg in the seventh leg. I have restored it. ApprenticeFan work 02:43, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
Leg 7
editCan't we count it as a virtual Pitstop and not a super leg (or a leg without break). Because I think it would be erroneous to refer to it as not a pit stop when the host and production company and tallys by axn counts it as one. (I.e. actual pitstop with no break or prize inbetween) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.1.52.194 (talk) 15:01, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- This season aired before the Virtual Pitstop of Unfinished Business was created. It's a superleg, case closed. 70.68.97.58 (talk) 04:14, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
Right, but this is not the American version, it is a local adaption and each local adaption has had different rules and twists introduced by their different production teams. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kartoffel07 (talk • contribs) 14:18, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
- But they can't have used the Virtual Pitstop (By which I mean the thing we use the Underlined Leg number to indicate) before the American version invented it. It's a superleg, plain and simple. They've done it in Asian seasons 1 and 2, they did it again here. 70.68.97.58 (talk) 21:15, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
- Do not ignore what I've written here or I'll change it back again 70.68.97.58 (talk) 10:13, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
- Hmm, in season one viewers were told that the location was "where teams will check in" and it was not counted as a pit stop in the next leg. But in seasons 2 and 4 they were counted as actual pitstops (“this is a virtual pit stop"). Official tallys also count them as actual pit stops and seperate legs too (including the host “there are eleven legs...")... Besides I came up with a new identification for the table :D — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.1.52.194 (talk) 10:33, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
P.S. Accusing others of ignoring you when they simply haven't been online for a few days is rude isn't it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.1.52.194 (talk) 10:41, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Can we please have some sort of standard across the amazing race wikipedia pages. This is either a superleg or a no mandatory rest period leg, virtual pitstop is just the name given to it, it's no different to the same legs used in the american version and indicating it as such is confusing and overly complicated. It is the exact same as leg 5 in Amazing Race Asia 2 which is considered a super leg and this should be reverted asap. People who love making up their own symbols and rules are being overly pedantic about the race pages which is leading to conusion. 188.222.145.228 (talk) 20:57, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
- I agree with everything this person says. It's quite simple, people. Shadow2 (talk) 22:24, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- This was my comment btw ^^ I'd forgotten my account password. As the comment received positive feedback on the history page, I've consolidated virtual pit stops and superlegs into one paragraph on the main Amazing Race Asia page. I'm going to revert the table to showing leg 7 as a superleg as it is one. A virtual pit stop is not the name of a leg, it is the name given to the checkpoint in the middle by the Amazing Race Asia staff and can be marked as such in the Leg 7 race summary. I realise people want this special "first" for the Amazing Race Asia, but it is merely a cosmetic name to clear up confusion for teams/viewers about this checkpoint and in order to maintain standard across the Amazing Race wikipedia, I will revert this. Please discuss this further before changing it back ARArules (talk) 12:02, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, in order to clear up any confusion, I've edited both the main Amazing Race Asia section about double-length legs and this page to show that the leg is a superleg. The midpoint is the virtual pit stop. This virtual pit stop creates 1 superleg out of the 2 legs, therefore keeping what Allan said about "There are 11 legs in this race" true, whilst confirming that the same type of superleg seen in Seasons 1 and 2 and in the earlier american seasons. If you would like this changing, please discuss this first, explaining how you think a leg that functions the same as a pre-established leg in the same franchise (Asian series) is somehow different just for this one season. ARArules (talk) 12:32, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
- Now this is a wonderful idea! It keeps it consistent with what Allan says and what a superlag is. However, The Australian Season 1 is similar and I believe should be similarly edited to what appears in this one because Grant mentions it to be (12 legs) in the beginning and ALSO calls it a "marathon leg" later on. :) Kartoffel07 (talk) 06:50, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

- Allan says "This leg is not over yet" no less than FOUR times at the Sydney Pit Stop. 70.68.77.20 (talk) 06:14, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
