TAR table format

I would like your input here.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 22:51, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Because you took it upon yourself to become the master of the TAR tables. ANYTHING you say goes. We're all just pawns in your grand scheme. You're a jerk, you know that? I still see no valid reason for the change, and I'm opposing it because it doesn't make sense and it looked better without the space. Whatever Shadow2 (talk) 08:31, 19 November 2010 (UTC)"[2]
You know, whatever the issues associated with Ryulong's editing, that's a really rude thing to write. If you really think Ryulong is a jerk and that that's bad for Wikipedia, it sure doesn't make things better for the rest of us for you to carry on like this. It also undermines your other comments there which are more useful.

Amazing Race infobox

edit

What do you mean the labels are impossible to read? #ccf is the code for the same light blue color used by every other effing infobox on Wikipedia.—Ryulong (竜龙) 22:51, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

For weeks now, the top of the infoboxes have appeared an extremely dark grey, making the text behind them impossible to read. And now they're really dark grey again. I don't know what else to say except...they're dark grey and impossible to read. Shadow2 (talk) 10:53, 19 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
I made it light blue. You made it dark gray again.—Ryulong (竜龙) 18:58, 19 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
I made it light grey. The boxes are currently showing an almost black colour. If it still looks light blue to you, then perhaps there is a bug in the system. Because to me, and obviously a few editors who tried to fix the actual TAR pages, it's almost black. I'm using Internet Explorer. Shadow2 (talk) 22:32, 19 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Screenshot
Well perhaps the issue is Internet Explorer because it should be this color. It was no color before until someone decided it should be grey. I switched it to the color used on Template:Infobox.—Ryulong (竜龙) 02:52, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Amazing Race airdates

edit

Please do not remove the airdates from non-American Amazing Race articles as we are providing episode lists, and date of first broadcast is indeed an important item to include. It is simply not on the American versions because of the ratings tables providing that information outside of the race summary section.—Ryulong (竜龙) 10:38, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Just gonna say, I find that incredibly silly and unusual. Shadow2 (talk) 23:27, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Why? It's a list of episodes and episode list have airdates.—Ryulong (竜龙) 06:19, 28 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

TAR

edit

Shadow, how do I remove my watchlist in TAR articles? Can the administrator to remove the articles for my account? ApprenticeFan work 21:17, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand. Shadow2 (talk) 21:14, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
I got it, I removed the TAR articles that I found through Edit Watchlist on my profile starting from now on. ApprenticeFan work 21:53, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

As an aside, can you please go back and change all your formatting changes to the Detours? They just do not work. It is extremely jarring to have the information as you have presented it with the Detour icon listed after the two different places they will be going. Just make it like we at one point had the Fast Forwards, by indenting the line (using ** instead of *) and make put the clue icon in front of the locations. And there is also no reason for you to have not linked to the locations in the episode summary.—Ryulong (竜龙) 09:57, 21 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sir, there is a very simple reason I have outlined it like this. The old method of listing the symbols had us placing the symbols at the location where the teams received the clues, and the locations of some of these tasks were not even LISTED. There is no reason it should be outlined like this. Why should the ROADBLOCK be listed next to the Azrieli Center in Tel Aviv (Australia 1), when it takes place in an entirely different location, in another city, a TRAIN RIDE away. It doesn't make sense, and it's misleading for first-time readers. They're going to think the Roadblock takes place at the Azrieli Center. The symbols must be listed next to where they take place. Look, I did ALL of the work for you people, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with how they're outlined. Detours are listed with where the Detour takes place. Roadblocks are listed with where the Roadblock takes place. It's simple, it's effective, and it's sensical. Shadow2 (talk) 10:12, 21 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Why aren't we using the double indentation for the task locations, though?—Ryulong (竜龙) 04:25, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Because using double indentation sets apart the FFs and the Speed Bumps. Every team has to go through all tasks of the leg to get to the end, Except for the FF and SB. Those are either optional or done by only one team, respectively. Having them not be double-indented gives the impression that all teams have to do them. However, double indenting the Detours and Roadblocks as well is inconsistent and, to be honest, pointless. Shadow2 (talk) 04:35, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Amazing Race Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Smart (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Amazing Race issues

edit

Holy cow will you stop obsessing over the listing of the Speed Bump? On every other page we have the Speed Bump is always listed as after the task that the one team affected by it has to perform because no one else has to deal with it.

And I've only just now noticed that you removed the mentions of Sicily and Corsica as locations on older seasons. You've done this constantly and every time I revert you. The level of autonomy of these regions means that they get mentioned, just like the constituent countries of the United Kingdom, the Special Administrative Regions of the People's Republic of China, or the insular areas of the United States.

Let it go, FFS.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 05:35, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Holy cow, will you stop obsessing over removing everything I contribute. The Speed Bump is listed after the location THE SPEED BUMP CLUE IS GOTTEN AT. Just because you THINK this is how we do things, doesn't mean you're right. Will you get off of your goddamn high horse and stop thinking that every single thing you do is right? Shadow2 (talk) 10:15, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
It's how it's done at every other god damn season page and also elsewhere on the article for the Brenchel's Speed Bump. Items are always listed after the clue location and it has always been mandatory tasks for every team first, and penalties or alternate tasks second. And there are consensuses in place for everything else you've done that I've reverted. Just because it doesn't jive with whatever this is doesn't mean you get to change things from the status quo.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 21:22, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Amazing Race Canada 3 putting results in leg 3

edit

Hi Shadow! I checked on that article's Wiki and found out that leg 3 added a results table that haven't aired yet. If you want to revert it, go to the article's talk page. ApprenticeFan work 01:50, 21 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Re Sportsfan: I asked for discussion on the Talk Page of the article if anyone had any issue. You chose not to do that. That's what the talk page is for. I STILL have an unanswered question on the talk page, but instead you editors choose to just keep reverting edits without reason and tossing warnings onto the talk pages of people you disagree with. Take it to the TALK PAGE, or leave me alone please.
