Is it based on true facts?

It is completely unclear whether or not the plot of the movie is based on true events. It should be made clearer. I don't know it and really can't figure out from the article, though I kind of guess it is not.

Here: "...about a paranormal research institute which becomes home to the only U.S. government confirmed case of possession." In reality or in the fiction of the plot?

And here: "Now after nearly forty years, the classified events at the Atticus Institute are being made public to all." Again, it is unclear whether this is a true fact or just part of the narration. Teo8976 (talk) 23:28, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
