The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (film) → Psychic Kusuo – This film has no release in what English Wikipedia defines as the English-speaking world: the US/CA, UK/IE, and AU/NZ regions. Therefore the article should be titled according to what the film is titled by its international sales agent, Nippon TV, which is Psychic Kusuo, not The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
Psychic Kusuo is also what the film is titled on the covers of the official English-subtitled DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases of the film in Hong Kong.
In the absence of a release in the "English-speaking world", the English title used officially for the only English-subtitled release elsewhere in the world and the English title used for the film in its country of origin (which in this case are the same) should take precedence, as I understand the naming conventions for non-English-language films. 2A00:23C7:5485:2C00:3CB4:1FF:C0C0:D686 (talk) 06:31, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. The manga / anime have officially localized the JP title as "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.", so there's an established localization. The film has the exact same matching title. I don't know what the linked Hong Kong store versions are doing, but they don't have English titles on the cover and could well have just made up their own Google Translated version or the like. I don't think we should grant very much deference to whatever the subtitles use (if the subtitles even use that) - it's not uncommon for subtitles to take a more literalistic translation and official localizations to be a bit more flexible.
