The Fall of the Titans is an oil painting completed by the Dutch painter Cornelis van Haarlem in 1588–1590. Based on Greek mythology, it depicts the Titanomachy, a series of battles fought between the Titans and the Olympians. The painting is in the collection of the National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen.Painting: Cornelis van Haarlem

Fall of the Titans (Jordaens)

edit

The Fall of the Titans in the Prado is less well known than the one in Denmark, nevertheless the name of artist should be helpful to readers. If anyone seriously objects to the artist name feel free to revert. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:01, 27 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

No, this now can't be easily reversed. The Jordaens doesn't have an article, & this breaches the disam policies. I can't be bothered to go through the reversal procedure (others may), but please don't do undiscussed moves like this. Johnbod (talk) 03:00, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Well I self reverted. But not convinced this is a helpful title. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:46, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Fall of the Titans & Nudity

I'm curious if the nudity was altered with butterflies etc. by the original artist Verbatin01 (talk) 12:31, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
