- In Lead:
- Would be good to add a word about who Dawson is although you link him.
- Added a gloss. Chiswick Chap (talk)
- In Context:
- with for example locally-grown Should this not use commas like "with, for example, locally-grown" ?
- Just curious, does "Medieval" mean the same as "Middle Ages" here? Can we use any one term?
- It's basically the only available adjective for "of the Middle Ages". Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:32, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- In Overview:
- In the first few lines, it should be clear that "he" refers to the author.
- Said "Dawson". Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:32, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- In Approach:
- Is the term "goal" is linked to not a bit too technical for our purpose?
- Removed link. Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:32, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- The "hearbes" link in the quote is a duplicate.
- Removed link. Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:32, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- In Reception:
- Elizabethan is linked twice, and both are duplinks.
- Removed links. Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:32, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- Who is Opaskar?
- Glossed. Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:32, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- Link violet a bit earlier, at first mention.
That should be it. An interesting read, would make a great GA. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 09:23, 6 April 2016 (UTC)

Rosewater!
editIf rosewater is that unfamiliar today, how come I can buy it by the bottle in supermarkets and even corner shops? Stub Mandrel (talk) 15:36, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
- I changed this to "ingredients that are uncommon in modern cooking". They are familiar and not difficult to find at shops but they are not commonly used. Modern cookbooks only infrequently include a recipe with rosewater but some Middle Eastern cookbooks still use it. Spudlace (talk) 06:43, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
