Cast footnotes
editNow that Mockingjay - Part 1 has been released, do we really need footnotes to justify members of the cast who appeared in Part 1? I plan to delete them in a few days unless someone objects. BeIsKr (talk) 06:49, 30 November 2014 (UTC)
- No, I don't believe they're needed any more. Gloss 07:33, 30 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hearing no other comments, I made the changes. If I accidentally deleted a reference for a character who doesn't appear in Part 1, feel free to reinsert it. BeIsKr (talk) 20:41, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
Connection to awards
editAn odd distinction: though the film won no Oscars at all, its cast includes 4 Oscar winners: Jennifer Lawrence, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Mahershala Ali.

Pictures
editMore pictures and action shots would enhance the article. -- Narnia.Gate7 (talk) 00:56, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
- Of an unreleased film? We'll get right on that. Elizium23 (talk) 04:04, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
Sources needed for cast, etc.
editSince this film is yet unreleased, we need reliable secondary sources for cast members who haven't been in the other films. Likewise for other data about this film. Remember that WP:V is policy. Elizium23 (talk) 16:40, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Already released in Australia
editThis film has already been released in Australia and I've just seen it. Would it violate any policy for me to add the full plot to the article now? (PS: I think it's wonderful justice that we, who usually have to wait months or even a year for things after they're released in America, get this major American film first). Colonial Overlord (talk) 13:10, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
- No, go ahead. Keep in mind WP:FILMPLOT. Lapadite (talk) 03:06, 20 November 2015 (UTC)
Approximate numbers for gross and budget
editPer MOS:LARGENUM, the consensus for WP:FILM articles is that we round the numbers for budgets and gross earnings. Please do not change without WP:CONSENSUS here. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 22:55, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
Edits of this day
editI reviewed the article for information regarding filming production details, given the death of Hoffman, and found that the lead repeatedly introduced new unsourced information contrary to policy. While some information of the lede and info box appear in the main body, much does not (full description of film, writers, etc.), and some that does, appears without sources (cast, release format details, etc.). Per WP policy, the lede and info boxes are to summarize sourced body content (not replace such, and not to serve as a way to skirt WP:VERIFY, and wikilinking does not satisfy sourcing requirements. Length of film plot
editPer WP:FILMPLOT, plot summaries are to be between 400-700 words in prose length. The summary currently stands at 739 words, which means it can use a bit of tightening. However, what will not be tolerated is bloat. If you add on to the current plot and cause it to grow longer, expect to be reverted. More detail cannot be added without taking something else away, or adjusting scope and perspective to properly accommodate complexities while remaining succinct and concise. Thank you for your cooperation! Elizium23 (talk) 01:44, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
References
editDo we really still need references for the cast? The film is out there's no longer a question about it, lol. Scream4man (talk) 01:08, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
