what the original Italian title?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.66.16.12 (talkcontribs)

Original Italian title is 'Ladri di Saponette', found this on the french cinema library www.bifi.fr, see this url; http://195.115.141.14/catalogue/index.php?collection=F&Textfield=savonnettes

According to this reference the movie came out in 1988 and not 1989, but suppose 1989 refers to when the English title came out.--Jkleene 09:46, 14 February 2007 (UTC)-Reply

It may be worth noting that throughout the film, the suburban family (not) watching TV, doesn't notice the very dramatic things going on around them (like the stunning castle the boy is assembling with Legos). More importantly, the film ends with the fourth wall being broken as the director, inside the TV, can view the real-yet-understated drama occurring in the real world -- the tragedy of a possible late-term miscarriage, which is also not as fully realized by the suburban family as it is by the viewer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.130.17.165 (talk) 21:57, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't the name be "Icicle Thieves" instead of the other

I believe a translation from italics to plain language might improve this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.183.224.2 (talk) 23:24, 15 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
