Rules of the game

Taken from an english translation of the movie- and so is original research i guess

• You must remain in your own room after 10:00pm. If you're found outside, 'Guard' will eliminate you
• If a crime occurs, please solve it.
• The person who solves the crime is the 'detective'. Anyone of the 10 can be a detective.
• Once a solution is proposed, everyone will vote on it.
• If the majority agree, the detective will sentence the criminal to prison.
• The Experiment ends when either seven days have passed or when only two survivors remain.
• Bonus reward is given to the Detective, the criminal and the corpse.

Information about the Characters ##SPOILERS##

Some info gathered from the movie (original research). Feel free to edit if you want to improve or add to the main article.

Rikuhiko Yuki: the Main Protagonist. He is a Freeter and joined the game to get money for a car. His father had a drinking problem like Ando.

Shoko Suwana: gets the room next to Yuki. She likes mystery novels. She described herself as a former secretary, however, she is revealed to be a plant from the Organisation.

Wakana Tachibana: a nail stylist who's dream is to marry Yudai

Miya Sekimizu: a web designer with self-inflicted scars on her wrist from her childhood. Her motivation for joining the game was a son that needs to get a heart transplant from overseas.

Sousuke Iwai: falsely accused of murdering Nishina (who accused him of being the Aoyama Street attacker) and sent to the jail room. Iwai is confirmed to be the Aoyama attacker on the last day.

Yudai Osako: described himself as a medical intern, however, he isn't officially one until "after the exam". He is the boyfriend of Wakana. He signed up for the game because the concept intrigued him

Yoshi Ando: an alcoholic who worked at an architectural firm until it went bankrupt. His son died 6 months ago playing the game. He joined the game to find out the details of his son's death. He becomes allies with Yuki.

Sawako Fuchi: described herself as a housewife from Setagaya, and then later that she runs a take-out place and has 5 kids.

Munehiro Nishino: worked in a supermarket until it was downsized, then drove a taxi. He joined the game in order to be the first to die. He spreads distrust by accusing Ando, Sawako, and Iwai of criminal acts (the two former likely false accusations).

Yukito Maki: joined the game for the money. He becomes the ally of Wakana and Yudai.

Sousuke Iwai	Remote control that collapses the ceiling in the coffin room	Kills Yudai. Killed by faulty gun (set up by Ando) while attempting to kill Shoko and Yuki.
Yudai Osako	Knife	Killed by Iwai via collapsible roof.
Yoshi Ando	Ice pick	Survives by faking his own death.
Sawako Fuchi	muscle relaxant	Killed by Miya (who is scared of her)
Munehiro Nishino	Poison capsule	First to be killed via Guard. (Likely accidentally after deciding not to use his poison capsule)
Yukito Maki	Crossbow	Killed by Wakana after he is found with the remote control (thrown into the corridor by Iwai)
