Should all different translations of the lyric be included?

There is a clear consensus that the article should not include in its current form all the different translations of the lyric. Editors are divided among three different solutions: (1) removing the translations of the lyrics and including a link to the lyrics on Wikisource, (2) retaining the translations of the lyrics as collapsible by default, and (3) retaining only the translation of the single major edition of a language. Which solution to implement should be determined through further discussion.

Should all different translations of the lyric be included? I seems to only disrupt the reading flow and serve little purpose for those who do not understand all these foreign languages. I suppose a link to Wikisource would be appropriate.Viztor (talk) 03:38, 5 June 2019 (UTC)

  • Support - Through its very nature, the translation of the lyrics of this song in different languages is relevant, but the long list of lyrics doesn't make the article better in any way and actually make sit worse. I agree that most versions should either be linked to Wikisource or at least be made collapsible by default, as to make the article more readable. PraiseVivec (talk) 11:59, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Oppose The song is international and relevant in all languages included in this article. Having said that, I would also Support User:PraiseVivec's suggestion of making the translations collapsible by default, to make the article more readable. I wouldn't support the suggestion of going through an additional link. ---- Work permit (talk) 18:34, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Support - as an international anthem. I do however propose that only the single major edition of a language be included here, nobody today sings the National Revolutionary Army or Classical Chinese version of the Internationale anyway. They belong to the Wikisource. The English version fits all three version together neatly in a single column so that's good. Collapsing may not be needed. Tsumikiria 🌹🌉 19:14, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
Which English version would you suggest? If it were me, it would be the British translation but I don't know if there would be a consensus ---- Work permit (talk) 19:01, 28 June 2019 (UTC)
