Release date?
editThe Release Date in this article states July 31st, 1929, and the external link does mention that although it is not explicitly stated as a release date that I can see. However, the Wikipedia entry for May 23 lists "Karnival Kid" as released on that date, which also agrees with IMDb.IMDb --Doconeill (talk) 15:47, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Legacy and influence
editIn the 1931 Looney Tune Ups 'n Downs, Bosko is a hot dog vendor who calls out "Hot dogs!" while the hot dogs dance, in what seems to be an obvious reference to this then-recent cartoon, but I haven't found a source to confirm that the similarity was intentional.
