I moved the last paragraph from the "Synopsis" section into a separate "Controversy" section, because that paragraph a) wasn't part of the synopsis, and b) dealt with controversy caused by the film. --Unscented (talk) 21:47, 1 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

According to the history page for this article, on July 7, 2010, Bayoneta added Bonnie Poe's name to the "Voices by" item in the infobox. However, the summary still states that Mae Questel voiced Betty, and that Cab Calloway voiced all the other characters. Could someone please clarify the article as to who voiced Betty in this film? Was Bayoneta saying that Mae and Bonnie voiced different parts of the same film? Was he saying that it is uncertain (or unknown) whether it was Mae or Bonnie? Like all the other Betty Boop shorts I've seen, there are no credits for Betty's voice actress. --96.251.10.5 (talk) 00:51, 9 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I asked Bayoneta about this on his talk page. His reply is useful and informative. Two issues seem to remain:
I don't know how any of the Wikipedia articles on individual Betty Boop shorts can identify the actress who voiced Betty for that specific film. None of the prints I've ever seen credit any of the voice actors, and none of the WP articles cite any sources to back up the claims made as to who the voice talents were in the films they describe.
Just dropping Bonnie Poe's name in the infobox without describing in the body of the article her role in the film makes for an article that is unclear and ambiguous. I could fix that easily enough, were it not for the other issue described just above.
