Although The Red movie is a focal point of a larger campaign geared towards general awareness around the student loan debt crisis, it remains a real, standalone short film (not an ad) created by reputable filmmakers. It is free to watch online at FaceTheRed.com and is currently being discussed as such in the national media--I have added the references that were missing before.
