Talk:The Red House (film)

Why did this film become public domain so soon?

edit

The film says that it was released by United Artists, which is still in business. Did they simply fail to renew the copyright in 1975, as was then required? Had they done so, under the Copyright Term Extension Act it would still be in copyright today. This needs to be addressed in the article. Rlquall 16:02, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Film Noir?

edit

If this movie is film noir, then it is also a great example of "high school noir", which didn't begin with Veronica Mars after all. If it follows the conventions of noir, which it does only to a certain extent, then Julie London's character is the femme fatale. (She needs to be added to the credits in the article.) Music

edit

The music in this film is almost constant. Miklós Rózsa uses the theremin with the orchestra with fine effect. 173.174.85.204 (talk) 23:24, 28 November 2016 (UTC)EricReply
