Plot Summary
editI would have been very appreciative of ANY summary of the plot of the film, most likely from a 1926 newspaper review. Sussmanbern (talk) 01:30, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
Based on B. M. Croker novel?
editIt has been claimed that the novel 'The Road to Mandalay' (1917) by Bithia Mary Croker was the uncredited basis for this movie. (The first instance I could find was in 'The Feminist Companion to Literature in English: Women Writers from the Middle Ages to the Present' in 1990.) I find this hard to believe, as the similarities pretty much seem to end at the title. It also seems odd that they would name the movie after its uncredited source when its working title was 'Singapore'. RabbitFromMars (talk) 18:25, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
