I realize the existing plot summary may not be satisfactory, and perhaps, it should be removed. However, someone had replaced it with the plot summary for the movie Prometheus. And what remains here, eight years later, is as tedious, derivative and self-indulgent as the film itself, IMHO. Filmmakers talk volumes about their motivations and intentions—but in a reference article like this, I don't think it serves anyone to quote them to such ridiculous lengths. If the film had any real depth, originality or meaning, it might be different. But it doesn't—so if it were up to me, I'd delete the whole frothy "Themes" section.
