16-May-2007: I have split text from the book article to create "The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1952 film)" since the film and book are both famous and likely to expand with extensive details in each article. With the film starring Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner (both mega-movie-stars), many sections could be written about the film and its public reception. -Wikid77 10:33, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Changes

I've edited this article to very briefly - the summary was from the book, which I haven't read. I changed it a bit to match the movie, which I have seen. I'm too busy at the moment to actually flesh it out more fully; I just pulled it up while writing an unrelated paper, and needed the character names I'd long since forgotten. I noticed the details were wrong and attempted to fix it. I found my copy in the dollar DVD bin; if you haven't seen it yet, go look for it. Gregory Peck is always awesome.

Also it's funny to see this tough guy lying on a cot and whining about his life as he dies.

I added the spoiler tag, though it may not strictly be necessary since it's a film from the 50's. Still, don't want someone pissing at me because I "ruined" it for them.

Anyways, someone feel free to make it better, so long as it actually matches up to the movie this time. --Dthatcher 05:03, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
