Will leave some initial comments some point tomorrow. Jaguar 19:36, 29 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm changing the format of my reviews now (so it's less awkward):

  • The lead is well-written and can see no problems here, so this meets the GA criteria
  • "Toya decides to convert and marry Tom at the local Japanese-American mission" - marry at the local Japanese-American mission? I don't quite understand?
The American mission in Japan.♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:25, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • "Ince had constructed a very large village in his studio Inceville" - where was his studio located?
  • "Four months prior to the release, New York Motion Picture Corporation put an ad"- advertisement?
  • "The film was released in a new theater called The Strand, on 7 June 1914" - was it premièred here? Where was The Strand located?
  • The film's DVD was released in the United States on 18 March 2008." - is there a reference for this?
  • All the references are fine and the citations are in the correct places so this meets the GA criteria.

@Dr. Blofeld: This is a generally well-written article, there are very few prose problems here so the review is somewhat short! The only minor problems I found were a few confusing sentences that needs clarifying. I'll put this one on hold for the standard seven days. Thanks for addressing those concerns so quickly! The article is well-written and referenced so in short it meets the GA criteria. I couldn't find any other problems with it despite the review feeling short. Just out of curiosity, is this film in the public domain now? I thought I have seen this one before but I'd like to watch it! Anyway well done on the extra work. Regards Jaguar 18:43, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
