difference between treachery and treason
editI'm confused as to what exactly the difference between treachery and treason is in this context. Clarification on the page is needed IMHO. Nil Einne 19:13, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

- Would you give your sources please regarding Schurch being tried by Court Martial at the Duke of York's HQ in Chelsea in 1945. Thank you.Josephine 08:45, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Spelling of name
editOliver Clutton-Brock, Footprints on the Sands of Time. RAF Bomber Command Prisoners-of-War in Germany 1939-1945, London (Grub Street) 2003 on p. 181, 190 and in the name index spells the name "Schürch" and drops the trailing "e" of the given name. He does not give a source for this. However it is a fact (see www.verwandt.ch) that the name "Schürch" appears far more frequently in Switzerland than the spelling "Schurch". It may be that the father spelled his name Schürch when in Switzerland and dropped the umlaut dots when he came to the UK.--Kauko56 (talk) 08:29, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
