List of works
editI'm not sure that it make sense to list all of his works.
His own 1840 book "A Concise Account of the Principal Works in Stained Glass that have been Executed by Thomas Willement"[1] contains a list of his works up to that date and is 75 pages long.
Not to mention his later works (from 1840 to 1871). ash (talk) 14:52, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- Very good point. The article has three pictorial examples and maybe that's all we need? -- Wire723 (talk) 21:04, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- I've added a multiple images gallery. This should ideally be filled with examples referenced in the text. As many as is suitable (this number is IMHO significantly more than 3).
- Rather than a list of works, suggest a list of 'Selected Works' Orwell'sElephant (talk) 15:34, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- I've expanded the Selected Works to focus on a) extant examples, that b) have a suitable Wikipedia entry and preferably c) a Wikicommons picture. What I found surprising during this exercise was to find just how much of Willement's work has been destroyed. Orwell'sElephant (talk) 13:07, 26 August 2024 (UTC)

Crystal Palace Exhibition 1851 - Willement's absence
editThere appear to be various circular references between the article and other pages on the internet that Willement was among the 25 firms who exhibited at Crystal Palace. This doesn't appear to be the case. Harrison (1980) lists the exhibitors on p. 24, and notes Willement's absence. See also PhD thesis by Jasmine Allen 'Stained Glassworlds: Stained Glass at the International Exhibitions 1851-1900' p. 166, which also notes Willement's absence. (Unfortunately the appendices in Volume II aren't published online.)
Unless there's some other source for Willement's participation I suggest this point is deleted.
