Inaccuarate and misleading history of Prayag
In ancient India during the Vedic period neither Mughals existed nor Allahabad.
Prayag was renamed Ilahabad (इलाहाबाद) by the Mughal ruler Akbar around 1575. Akbar was grandson of the Mughal invader Babar.
Prayag was mentioned in the Vedic scriptures and sacred texts. Prayag was a sacred city in ancient India and still is an ancient, original and sacred city of modern India. To suggest otherwise is clearly distorting the history of ancient and modern India. By making inaccuarate and misleading statements the accuarate and real history of India can not be changed.
