One area in this wiki article that's not entirely clear is an explanation of HOW a submarine torpedo motor/engine is started. It's understood that water pressure ejects the torpedo but how and when is the torpedo motor started? Thanks for adding this info to the article. FollowingAlpha (talk) 21:02, 6 July 2023 (UTC)

MTB tubes

I came to find out how above-surface tubes work - for example on the MTBs. How does the torpedo get out of the tube into the water? Can someone add a piece on this? Michael of Lucan (talk) 09:23, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
