Notability issue
editAfter creating this page, a notability issue was raised by User:MicrobiologyMarcus. Please note that the page was created via the Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/List of notable songs/13 page, where it was listed. Notability should therefore not be an issue.
Please remove Notability issue tag. Metamatica (talk) 07:27, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Metamatica: inclusion on the Wikiproject list does not, in itself, establish notability. Each article must establish it own its own. As the tag directs, it's best to look at the guideline for notability of music—and here § Songs—to assist in seeing what verifiable information is required. While this article does establish some of factors listed in the guideline, those are identified as suggestions that finding secondary sources to establish notability ("have been the subject of multiple, non-trivial published works ") will be successfull. This factors into the discussion threat below. microbiologyMarcus (petri dish) 12:48, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @MicrobiologyMarcus Not much more I can do about this, other than prove that the single in question was one of the group's biggest hits and was in fact re-mixed and re-released as the band/writers believed it could be a hit. I think the article is proof of this. Thanks. Metamatica (talk) 14:47, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Done: tag removed, I think it's acceptable in it's current form! microbiologyMarcus (petri dish) 15:57, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

Single source issue
editAfter creating this page, a notability issue was raised by User:MicrobiologyMarcus. Please note that all information in the article was included on the cited sources (Official charts and discogs.com links). Anyway, a new source has now been added.
Please remove Single source issue tag. Metamatica (talk) 07:50, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Metamatica: while it is great that another source has been added, there are still large sections of the article that go unsourced. All factual claims must be backed up by inline citations, see WP:V. The entire section § B-side goes uncited, and two of the three points in § Other versions lack a citation. I have removed the single source tag but the article still lacks adequate inline citations. microbiologyMarcus (petri dish) 12:37, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @MicrobiologyMarcus Jus added a series of refs on-line (and from printed articles of the time) from varying sources. I trust these are sufficient. Metamatica (talk) 14:48, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Done: second tag removed, I think it's acceptable in it's current form! microbiologyMarcus (petri dish) 15:57, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
