Regarding the section:
- The present day pollution of this great river is a grave cause of concern for all the religious minded people, the Govt has spent crores of rupees on paper to cleans Ganga but the corruption has led to no better state of the river today despite the river being venerable by all those high placed industrialists, judges and politicians. Above all the common man has never given his thought to keep it clean. ... The people should take urgent steps to stop the pollution of this great holy river.
This is certainly NPOV, and also I believe irrelevent for this article. Discussion of pollution would be better places in the article concerning the Ganges, where indeed it is already discussed. (In fact, it has its own article.)--JamesGlover (talk) 23:11, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
