Controversy
editI removed the Controversy section seeing as there are no citations to the quotes found in there. KHorberg (talk) 08:37, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- I nominate that the "Controversy" section be removed AGAIN, since it is non-notable. Saying that the film "...was mentioned..." is hardly a strong support. It was mentioned in a local free newsweekly (AsianWeek) by a non-notable writer (Philip W. Chung). I'll give it a week to see if the contributor can shore up their argument. If not, I'll delete it. - Apparently not. OK, away it goes. If someone tries to revert without justifying such a weak source, I'll apply for protection. Bricology (talk) 06:20, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- I have added this entry about the Chol Soo Lee Defense Committee.
The work of the Asian American activists like David Kakishiba, Mike Suzuki[1], Peggy Saika, Warren Furutani[2] from the Chol Soo Lee Defense Committee which was formed in response to the Kyung Won Lee articles, were also brushed aside.
With links.
Other names available.
Dr. Luke Kim, Grace Kim and Grant Din [3]

A free newspaper established since 1979, is not a valid source? Philip W. Chung has his own wikipedia entry, what makes him a non-notable writer?
- The Chol Soo Lee Defense Committee was not mentioned in the film.
KW Lee was not mentioned in the film.
The article from Asian week mentions that the Chol Soo Defense Comittee listed several members, yet the names were still deleted.
I added several names from the Chol Soo Defense Comittee with links. The links are to back up the entry of these people being members of the Chol Soo Defense Committee.
Since the Chol Soo Defense Comittee was never mentioned in the film about Chol Soo, how did you come up with the idea of the entry being Original Research??? Should that committee be renamed Chol Soo Defense that was not mentioned in True Believer film Committee??
