Is this a Michigan and an Ohio lighthouse?

If the article is right about the boundary dispute and its resolution, should this also be listed as a Lighthouse of Michigan? 7&6=thirteen (talk) 19:41, 5 October 2009 (UTC) Stan

Jurisdiction

Every article I've ever seen that mentions the Supreme Court ruling on the jurisdiction is that the island lays entirely within Ohio. This is important since Michigan had always claimed at least half the island or rather that a line went through the center of the island at a particular angle. This page appears to try and confuse the definitive ruling? Criticalthinker (talk) 00:37, 7 July 2024 (UTC)

I think you are on to something! I realized something was wrong when I read this article which says the opposite of the current article that it was not split, and also google maps is showing an incorrect border according to that article. The article seems suggest the Supreme court went with a split border. I will tag the article until this can be resolved. A75 (talk) 14:57, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

Ok, I have resolved this to my satisfaction, its pretty clear that it was split in half in 1973. Michigan had wanted the whole island. I am not sure about all the details, but overall for anyone digging into this there plenty of conflicting statements out there. A75 (talk) 15:40, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
