WikiProject Compliance

edit

So what needs to be done? I saw on the US 1 talk page that the editing guide now mandates county-by-county mileage specification in the county list, which is missing from this article. What else needs to be done? -TheOneKEA

Not sure, the stubsensor project's bot automatically slapped a cleanup template at the top, but it was just the generic template. I'm assuming the bot relies on humans to switch to the more specific templates so that's what I did. I'm still confused as to why it was tagged in the first place, but I guess the template can be removed as soon as the mileages are added. A better example for that (than US 50) would be Intercounty Connector which sites each length.-Jeff (talk) 18:53, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Changing intro

edit

Please stop changing this, Wikipedia's policy on intros states that the article's subject must appear in bold in the intro (preferably the bolded text should be identical to the article title). If this edit was related to something that USRD has in their standards please note that Wikipedia's policies trump them.-Jeff (talk) 12:46, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've started a discussion at WT:MDRD on this.-Jeff (talk) 12:51, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Last exit before toll road

edit

I added that to the table w/r to MD 299 intersection. Could you please NOT revert it (since it is common to make note of last exit before toll)? Thanks. Carlm0404 (talk) 04:24, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Well MD 299 is an intersection and not an exit so I fixed that detail. But it has never been precedent to note last exits before tolls in junction lists on road articles. Perhaps we should consider doing this. Dough4872 04:30, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Is it true that 301/3 used to be a horse and wagon (dirt) road, and an Indian trail before that?

Does anyone know about this?
