In 1957 Rooks went through the Suez canal under threat of being sunk. She went through all alone. In the middle of the canal is Great Bitter Lake, where in 1956 40 ships were sunk. In this lake Rooks was boarded and had to go hand to hand to repeal boarders. I know this because I was there. 205.188.116.7020:03, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
