The population number use comma the wrong way, in other wikipedia pages, you do not find commas at all and when they do, they are used in a commonly understood way of using them, for example 4,000,000 and not 40,00,000 as this is not the correct way to separate numbers in English, I believe this could have been an overlook when translating from Hindi to English or some other minor reason because it looks like it's exclusive to India related pages.
