Couldn’t agree more! It’s terrible that even in wikipedia I have to read russian propaganda terms about my country. Well, considering that we aren't writing in either Ukrainian or Russian, none of that matters a damn bit. We are writing in English, and the usual English spelling is Kievan Rus. And spare me your "help, help, we're being repressed" posturing. Attempting to impose one language's standards on another is highly inappropriate and anyone who tries to do so deserves to know how disrespectful they are being. I'm not. I'm comparing their reaction to English usage to a scene from a Monty Python movie. How English spells a name is not an attack on them. And their reaction to it trivializes the very real atrocities and repressions that the Russian have inflicted (and cpntinue to inflict) on the Ukrainian people. @Khajidha: Warning: To avoid being blocked from at least this page, you must not respond as you have done above. @Едууард: Anyone wanting to pursue the suggested change would need to first discuss the spelling of Kievan Rus' at its talk page. However, the big red box at the top of Talk:Kievan Rus' suggests that topic has been raised too often. You could ask for suggestions at WP:Teahouse but new data to support a rename would be needed. Update coordinates of article

Currently the coordinates are on the coordinates listed by Kyiv in the infobox. I don't think this is the correct level of specificity for a country the size of Ukraine, see other country articles. For a specific change/coordinates, I would suggest changing the title coordinates to 49° N 32° E, but as this article is ECP I cannot change it. ~2026-46236-82 (talk) 22:50, 24 August 2026 (UTC)
