Lead + quick facts
  • Is Bandcamp an official website? If not, please remove it from the quick facts or replace it with the official site of applicable
  • Underdark released their debut EP. I would prefer linking EP or writing it in full like extended play (EP)
  • Speelman quit the band was replaced by Vasquez shortly after the recording of its debut album, Our Bodies Burned Bright on Re-Entry, in 2019; the album was not released until 2021 due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. ==> Speelman quit the band and was replaced by Vasquez shortly after the recording of its debut album, Our Bodies Burned Bright on Re-Entry, in 2019. The album was not released until 2021 due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Please minimize use of "the song" and "the album", be specific and write the name of the album. dxneo (talk) 22:24, 7 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
2015–2018 Formation and early releases
  • Link "self-released" and write EP in full
2023—present Managed Decline
  • The first paragraph of this sub-section is confusing. I think it should be trimmed down a bit then combine it with the second paragraph. Okay, they had completed writing half of their second (studio?) album. In 2022 they recorded Managed Decline. Is Managed Decline the second album? If not, what's the second album mentioned before and is Managed Decline the third or fourth?.
  • On 5 July 2023, Underdark announced they had signed with Church Road Records and released a cover of Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy". Managed Decline was released through the label on 24 November 2023, ==> On 5 July 2023, Underdark announced they had signed a recording contract Church Road Records and released a cover version of Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy". They released Managed Decline through Church Road Records on 24 November 2023.
:Don't forget the links.
Musical styles and influences
  • She cited Kendrick Lamar as an influence on her storytelling in Managed Decline. ==> She cited Kendrick Lamar as an influence on her storytelling on Managed Decline.
Political views
  • "political band". Are the quotation marks necessary?
  • Such quotes are often discouraged but in this case I don't know if it is okay or not.
Discography

For clarity, I would suggest you place the references next to the title of the song or album. I was also wondering, why are formats shortened? CD and LP are acceptable, but not DD, rather go with digital download or music download

Studio albums
  • All unrefenced. Oh, link all the formats and de-link them below (where repeated).
EPs
  • Plainsong / With Bruised & Bloodied Feet is unreferenced
Split-releases
  • Fix 7" on Split release and de-link DD per overlink
Singles
  • "The Smell of Autumn" is unreferenced
  • "Matrimony (27th December 1997)" is missing release year and album. dxneo (talk) 22:51, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
tryna keep up w yo edits im workiing away dont worry Chchcheckit (talk) 22:54, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Cool, I wanna sleep now. I'll get to the Refs after you've addressed the issues. Have fun! dxneo (talk) 22:57, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
okok: now ref time. remember if i fuck up its bc im so tired
    • label shenanigans tweaked. can we not do "recording contract", the sources ive looked at use "signed" or "sign" no mention of "record deal" or "contract". and like i think the point has been
    • ill link the cover version but can i digress on using "recording contract"? it's a little... um
    • short sentence cut down; its reviews ykyk
    • refbomb: 3 each is enough
    • "on managed decline" and minor tweaks okok
    • for something as potentially contentious as one's political views, id rather not cut the number of references down. that is the one section id rather not fuck with because but lets discuss.
    • ep and albums cited; thought it was given bc cited in body but i was wrong
    • smell of autumn gone; was erroneous from bandcamp
    • overlink on 7" gone
    • ???? Matrimony is correctly cited/formatted what
we can discuss how contentious we wnna be about formatting in the morning. personally its a tad overkill ie "recording contract" in place of just "signed" but ghhhhhhh. do remember what GA aint // Chchcheckit (talk) 00:19, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Not yet, you haven't addressed everything. I honestly really don't see the of point citing three references to one genre. And yes, you gonna have to trim down the references on Political views either way. I'm not discrediting your work, but I'm making sure the article is at its best, that's why we have reviewers for this kind of things. This GA is taking way longer than I expected   Facepalm . I will ignore the profanity this time only. dxneo (talk) 03:57, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
    Sorry for yesterday.
    • refbombing has been cut down. is this better?
    • scare quotes on "political band" removed
    • some things trimmed again; the "real s" line changed
    Chchcheckit (talk) 12:48, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
You haven't addressed the discography. Check the requests above. Next time use at least two sources, REFBOMB takes up a lot time when reviewing. Imagine going through 7 different sources looking for black-metal   Facepalm dxneo (talk) 14:14, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
    • okay the "digital download" is added.
    • moved citations to "Album/EP details".
    Chchcheckit (talk) 14:37, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sheesh! Do I have to do this for you   Facepalm . I made an example for you here. dxneo (talk) 15:13, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ let's continue Chchcheckit (talk) 16:02, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Still on Singles, there's no release year and album. And don't forget to change CS to cassette throughout the entire Discography. dxneo (talk) 16:11, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
    • I don't understand what you can't see. I suggest you edit in what you say is that is missing because I honestly don't see it.
    • cassette added.
    Chchcheckit (talk) 16:30, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I can't add it if I don't know it. Okay, when was "Matrimony (27th December 1997)" released, and what album was it taken from? dxneo (talk) 16:50, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
    2023, Managed Decline Chchcheckit (talk) 16:59, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Good, stay tuned for more assessment. dxneo (talk) 17:09, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
    okay Chchcheckit (talk) 13:30, 11 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sources and files

edit
  • I have been reviewing the references for quite some time now and I'm happy with everything so far since you have resolved refbomb.

  • As for files, I can't complain much.
